Symptoms of a dysfunctional dishwasher
When you feel like the dishwasher is not dysfunctional as it should be but is not throwing any errors on the screen, yet filters are clean and it’s filled up. You may also notice a lower sound volume coming from the water spray than before.
Finding the issue
After checking for previous possible issues we are going to try to visually see if we can see something wrong. Therefore the dishwasher must not be plugged in and the water intake must be closed. For instance, pay attention to the upper drawer for dishes and it’s connection to water intake. On this variant there are two intakes for water on the dies of the wall.
If the rubbers on these intakes are damaged then that could be the cause of your issues and they need to be replaced.

Taking out the top drawer
To make our job easier I recommend taking out the top drawer.
Before taking out the drawer you need to remember which seal is for water intake and which is for outtake.
Therefore the drawer should be empty and is being held by the sliders on the sides. Disconnect it from the top and bottom side and then slide it out.

Removing seal holders from a dysfunctional dishwasher
The seal holder is replaced along with the seals themselves. They are located in the middle of the center pillar on the walls on the sides. In addition it’s held together with plastic clicks that you need to pop off. To pop them off you can push a screwdriver in between them and separate the housing.

Swapping, repairing and returning back the seal
It’s a good idea to replace the seal holder you took off with a brand new one. However another solution would be to turn it around and use it like that, though this solution is not a recommend one and won’t last long.
Another option would be adding rubber from a bicycle wheel to it, though this is also not a long lasting solution.
Similarly making rubber for the seal is simple enough. From the inside rubber of the bicycle wheel cut out a piece that fits the square of the seal. The length of the rubber can be bigger than the holder, however it can’t be in the way of the plastic clips.
To return the seal just place it into it’s place and push in the plastic clicks.
After placing in the rubber we need to cut out the holes for the water intake. Best tool for this are scissors that are slightly bent, for instance, the ones for nails. The hole in the rubber must be 4 to 10 mm smaller than the one of the seal.

After that what’s next is putting everything back together which is done opposite to disassembling everything. After that you should do a test wash which you can notice if your issue was fixed by the sound of the stream strength.
